Support. Make a Difference. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Food & Nutrition Technician to join our thriving Creative and Technology Faculty at The Romsey School. In this vital role, you'll work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging, high-quality food and nutrition lessons, maintain an outstanding learning environment, and help inspire the next generation of chefs, nutritionists, and food scientists. While your primary focus will be the Food & Nutrition department, there will be opportunities to support the wider Creative and Technical Faculty when needed. Key Responsibilities: Deliver a safe, effective and efficient technical service for the Food & Nutrition department. Provide hands-on support in lessons, assisting students and staff with practical activities. Ensure health and safety standards are met, including the completion of risk assessments and equipment checks. Contribute positively to the wider ethos and aims of The Romsey School. What We're Looking For: Previous experience as a Food Technician, or a willingness to learn and develop in the role. Solid subject knowledge with excellent organisational and communication skills. A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work as part of a team. A commitment to safeguarding and enriching the educational experience of all students.
