About the role
As a Cyber Security Specialist, you’ll design, develop, and maintain cybersecurity products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security standards and customer needs are met. Key responsibilities include:
1. Incident response: investigating and mitigating security breaches, monitoring threats, and communicating findings.
2. Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and standards.
3. Conducting security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
4. Ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
5. Protecting systems through access controls and security measures.
6. Supporting incident response and ongoing system monitoring.
7. Staying updated on security developments and emerging threats.
8. Designing and developing cybersecurity products, including software and hardware solutions.
9. Participating in product implementation, configuration, and support.
10. Monitoring compliance with security standards.
11. Collaborating with vendors and internal teams for product deployment.
12. Maintaining documentation of security designs and procedures.
13. Planning and executing security testing activities such as penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
14. Assisting in designing secure application architectures.
Who we’re looking for
You should have experience in incident management, working with APIs, and key cybersecurity controls like Anti-malware, EDR/XDR/NDR, SIEM, and vulnerability management. A good understanding of cybersecurity threats and mitigation techniques is essential, along with strong IT skills, including knowledge of Windows, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), networking, and firewalls.
