This opportunity is offering a proactive Sales Manager the responsibility of promoting and selling equipment to clients in various sectors and territories. The role will include you displaying a technical understanding of customer needs, providing detailed product information, developing specific customer solutions and fostering lasting relationships to drive sales revenue.
Responsibilities
* Proactively identify and engage potential customers through establishing direct contacts, sales visits, networking and attending industry events.
* Negotiate acceptable terms of business with clients.
* Client consultations to understand requirements.
* Relationship management.
* Proposal development.
* Forming and maintaining strong positive relationships with existing sales and service partners.
* Gain, maintain and continuously improve in-depth knowledge of equipment, including specifications, applications, and market trends.
* Reporting of sales activities and customer updates on the CRM. You’ll be used to working with long sales cycles.
Qualifications
* Industry experience in bulk materials handling/industrial equipment or construction or agriculture.
* Experience in B2B sales, with a strong technical understanding and ability to read technical drawings is a must.
* Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Location
Ely with international travel required as part of the role and hybrid working post probation.
Hours
Monday-Friday - 39 hours per week with flexible working.
Salary
Negotiable + Bonus opportunity.
