About this job
The candidate will work in a large, busy, modern GP Practice with a list size of 25,000 patients.
The post holder will join a team of four Practice Nurses, four Health Care Support Workers and two phlebotomists providing clinical support in the areas of diabetes, respiratory, women's health, family planning, wounds, among others.
Duties / Responsibilities
* Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, respiratory, women's health)
* Wound management
* Immunisations
* Women's health and family planning services
* Adherence to Infection Control procedures
* Taking and recording observations such as BP monitoring
* Venepuncture
* ECG performance
Qualifications and Knowledge
* Registered Nurse with substantial post-qualification experience
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
* Competent and trained to perform venepuncture
* Experience in chronic disease management, immunisation, and ECG interpretation
* Appropriate certifications (e.g., CQC registration, etc.)
Skills and Personal Qualities
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Adept at working within multidisciplinary teams
* Ability to manage caseloads efficiently
* Commitment to high standards of patient care
Pay Scale
Band 6, depending on skill set and experience.
