We are looking to recruit an experienced Pastry Chef who will be responsible for the efficient and smooth running of the production of sweet product, encompassing the manufacture of these products, stock control, food safety, recipe development and improvement while ensuring that company standards, policies and procedures are maintained.
Pastry Chef Primary Duties:
* Preparing and producing our range of Hungry Guest products in line with customer demand.
* Managing and scheduling the kitchen to enable growth of the business, adapting to seasonal peaks.
* Ensuring that systems are transparent and that there is full traceability.
* Being responsible for product accuracy and legal compliance.
* Ensuring that the kitchen is run in an efficient manner that will optimise costs.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
* A minimum of 2 years working in a production kitchen or similar.
* The ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills.
* A knowledge of the science of batch cooking.
Desired Qualifications / Skills:
* Food Safety L3.
* HACCP Certificate.
