Nursing Assistant – Hospice at Home at St Catherine's Hospice, Lancashire
Temporary role until July 2026. The service directly supports discharges from hospital and ensures rapid access to home care, helping to relieve pressure on the NHS and help more people to achieve their wishes to die at home.
The role of the Home Health Care Assistants involves providing hands‑on care and emotional support to patients and their families under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Health and social care qualifications are not essential; substantial training will be provided by St Catherine’s. Successful candidates will work alongside a Home Nursing Assistant colleague during each home visit and will report to a qualified team leader.
