We work with leading Training Providers and Colleges to attract the best talent for their teams. We are currently recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking private training Provider for a Health & Social Care Coach.

Job Purpose

The role of the Health & Social Care Coach is to support, guide and mentor apprentices enrolled onto the care programme to ensure their timely progress towards End Point Assessment. Working in partnership with the apprentice’s line manager, you are responsible for planning activities and providing coaching to ensure the development of skills and knowledge relevant to the Health & Social Care apprenticeship standard up to L2 – L5.

Job Role:

* Support a caseload of learners to achieve apprenticeship qualifications at Level 2 - 5

* Deliver qualifications online and face to face when the learner request it, which will involve setting key objectives, course work and regularly reviewing with the learner

* Coach and train individual learners to learn new professional skills required for the workplace in line with the appropriate learner and achieve their qualification.

* Achieve and exceed specified targets relating to performance and learner caseload.

* Deliver teaching and learning to learners online.

* Develop relationships with clients to support your learners on their programme.

* Be involved with clients’ programme design, creating a programme that aligns with their strategic vision and business goals.

* Enhance the learning experience through the provision of personalised teaching to ensure your learners have an outstanding experience while on programme.

Experience Required

* Relevant delivery experience

* Teaching qualification

* Assessors award

* Care experience / care management

* Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal

* Ability to deliver teaching session online

* Ability to plan your own workload

* IT literate, with the ability to adapt to new systems easily

* Confident decision maker

* Flexible & adaptable to change

* Self-motivated

* Ability to influence & motivate learners
