Location: 21 Stacey Ave, London, N18 3PP Salary: £45,0000 per annum paid monthly Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: Mon – Fri 06:30 – 16:30 with a 60 minute unpaid break About Us: MPH has been serving the construction, mechanical & electrical and HVAC industries in London and the Southeast since 1981. Workshop Manager - The role The Workshop manager is responsible for managing the workshop and the yard teams to ensure that all targets are achieved and customers are satisfied with the service in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and safe systems or work. Workshop Manager – What you will be doing: - Lead and manage workshop and yard teams - Oversee inspection, fault finding, and repair of returned machinery - Ensure machinery is serviced and maintained to schedule - Allocate resources and manage workload effectively - Coordinate machinery movements in and out of the yard - Monitor damage reports, records, and service documentation - Control costs and manage parts ordering - Carry out monthly stock takes and Health & Safety walkarounds - Ensure staff training, SSOW, and H&S compliance at all times Workshop Manager – What we are looking for - A confident leader with strong communication skills - Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving - Able to think creatively and put forward continuous improvements - A collaborative team player with strong organisational skills - Comfortable using computer systems and workshop software - Proven previous management or supervisory experience - Must hold a relevant IPAF qualification - Strong understanding of health and safety best practices - IOSH Managing Safely qualified Workshop Manager – Benefits: - Competitive Salary & Pension Scheme - 24 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (3 included for the Christmas period) - Comprehensive Training & Career Progression - Health & Wellbeing Support - Recognition & Reward Schemes - Strong Team Culture & Open Communication - Seasonal social events - Free on-site parking - LEEA training & development To submit your CV for this Workshop Manager opportunity click ‘Apply’ now
