Within this role, you will have the opportunity as a permanent team member to join our delivery team.
You will join the business as a Van driver with duties including picking for the delivery team, supporting the delivery operation to achieve first-class customer service.
A full driving license is required to be considered for this role.
Our drivers are vital to our business, ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time with excellent service.
Main Responsibilities
* Responsible for accurate picking and dispatch of goods using a handheld terminal, and informing the manager of any discrepancies.
* Checking quality, shelf life, and ensuring packaging is robust for delivery.
* Providing high standards of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and meeting targets.
* Delivering goods to customers professionally and courteously, handling queries and complaints appropriately, and escalating complex issues.
* Loading stock into the vehicle at the branch and unloading at customer premises, ensuring paperwork is completed accurately.
