Please note that the annual salary advertised is for a full-time role, based on 35.00/37.00 hours per week. If the position you are applying for is part time or you are only going to be working part of the year, i.e., a term time contract for 38 or 39 weeks per year, the annual salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis including a number of additional weeks for annual leave entitlement when the position is term time.
Role Purpose
We are a large ELC of around 40 learners. We aim to provide high quality learning and childcare for all our learners. We are looking to attract a new member to the team to cover a maternity post. This is a full time position.

Please note we are not a Hub ELC and therefore work on set hours.

You will contribute to all aspects of childcare and education in the ELC setting and take an active part in other appropriate duties as required. PRINCIPAL DUTIES: See attached Recruitment Profile
Essential
At least one of the following qualifications:

HNC in Childhood Practice/Childcare & Education
\n
SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) SCQF 7 / SVQ 3 Children’s Care, Learning & Development
\n
Applicants with an SNNEB/NNEB may be considered where they can evidence a record of on-going CPD during the past 5 years
\n
All successful applicants for early learning and childcare posts will be required to be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of appointment and maintain registration throughout the period of employment.
