We are recruiting for Systems Engineer - Vehicle Features to join our engineering team in Leamington Spa.
As a Systems Engineer - Vehicle Features, you will be responsible for the systems engineering of our EVs, focusing on defining and delivering software vehicle features.

What You'll Do
1. Ownership and management of complex distributed vehicle features across domains such as Chassis, Body, Powertrain, Autonomous Drive, Digital Cockpit, Infotainment, and Connectivity. This includes authoring function descriptions, architectural diagrams, requirements, and test specifications.
2. Collaborate with Electrical and Software architecture teams to ensure features and interfaces align with the Electrical Architecture and meet quality, safety, and legal standards. Support domain specialists in feature definitions and standards adherence.
3. Support Project Engineers and Tier 1 suppliers to ensure understanding of vehicle software features and interfaces, ensuring delivery aligns with plans. Coordinate certification activities as needed.
4. Work with the Digital Architecture team to specify and implement network database updates for distributed functions.
5. Collaborate with the Verification and Validation team to develop test strategies and plans that provide adequate coverage at various project stages.
6. Manage engineering changes and issues throughout the lifecycle.
7. Use engineering artefacts to analyze impacts and root causes of issues, understanding their effects on vehicle systems, and work with stakeholders for timely solutions.
What You'll Bring
* Relevant experience in systems engineering within an automotive environment, delivering software-controlled, distributed functions from conception to launch.
* Experience with vehicle components/functions in at least one domain; experience in multiple domains is advantageous.
* Proficiency in requirements management tools like Polarion or Doors.
