About the Role
Our welcoming secondary school near Brentwood, Essex is looking for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to build a rewarding career in Education while supporting young people aged 11-16 to achieve their full potential.
You will work closely with teachers and the SEND team, supporting students both in class and through small-group or 1:1 interventions. Every day brings variety, challenge, and the chance to make a genuine impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Support students with additional learning needs during lessons
* Help adapt classroom materials to meet individual needs
* Encourage confidence, independence, and positive behaviour
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams
* Provide encouragement and guidance to help students thrive in Education

* A patient, caring, and positive individual
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience working with young people (school experience desirable but not essential)
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
* Interest in developing a long-term role within Education
