Senior Radiographer
Hours: Monday–Sunday, 36 hours a week, 3x12hr shifts. Location: Weston (supporting Bristol CDC as required).

Main duties of the job
As a Senior Radiographer you will be responsible for ensuring our patients receive the best standard of care while generating high‑quality images to support their healthcare pathway. You will deliver an effective and professional service, working alongside your colleagues in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
What you will do
* Carry out modality‑specific imaging procedures to the best practice standards of Radiographic Techniques.
* Provide a great experience for patients, supporting them through the process from referral to results.
* Run quality assurance checks on equipment and act as appropriate.
* Respect patients' customs, values and spiritual beliefs.
* Perform triage functions of referrals.
* Support patient bookings and keep the information system up to date.
* Complete competency assessments.
* Adhere to all operational procedures.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
* Act as a practice educator, assisting placement students and colleagues in their learning outcomes.
* Share knowledge and clinical experience with the wider team to support development.
Qualifications and Experience
* BSc Radiography or equivalent.
* Membership of an appropriate professional body and valid registration with the HCPC.
* Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in CT and MRI, and willingness to develop skills across MRI, CT and X‑ray.
* Strong understanding of MRI and CT physics and scanning techniques.
* High level of professionalism and technical standard.
* Aptitude towards improving quality.
* Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
* Understanding of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles and GDPR.
* Flexible approach to work; able to work 7 days a week.
* Strong team‑player attitude; calm under pressure; positive and passionate.
Desired experience
* Experience with MRI and CT equipment in hospital or mobile settings.
* Routine and complex MRI and CT examinations.
* Training in infection control, manual handling, basic life support.
* Scanning with contrast.
* Knowledge of health and safety policies for imaging equipment.
* Experience in a multidisciplinary team, supporting others' development.
