We are currently looking for an experienced Administrator who can start immediately for a client we have based in Marston Gate. Working rota will be 0900 to 1700 with a 1hr lunch break each day, you will only be required to work Monday to Friday. Pay rate is £12.30ph, or £25,562pa once you go permanent with the end client after 3 months. Role Purpose: To take ownership and control of the core administrative tasks within the Distribution Centre (DC), covering both the Warehouse and Transport roles and responsibilities. Demonstrate flexibility to coordinate and complete activities from the site and the branch customers. Duties will include: * Communicating with transport drivers, ensuring that they are kept up to date with relevant online training and Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) expiry dates, as required by DC. * Booking in Supplier Drivers * Ordering of replacement pump trucks for DC vehicles * Dealing with delivery discrepancies * Organising training and development plans for transport colleagues, as required by DC. * Raising Purchase Orders. i.e. Lyreco stationary ordering Ideal candidate will have the below skills: * Good level of numeracy and literacy skills * IT proficient (fully conversant with Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc) * Logistics / Warehouse operational knowledge * Strong communication skills – verbal and in writing, combined with good presentation skills We are looking for the prefect candidate to start a trial with the client immediately; this is with a view of becoming permanent after a 3-month temporary period.
