Position: Care Navigator
Hours: Shifts available Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:30 (or half days 08:00 - 13:30 / 13:30 - 18:30)
Location: Sefton, Liverpool
Connaught Resourcing are seeking experienced Customer Service / Administrators with healthcare experience to work as a Care Navigator in a busy NHS primary care environment, providing a high-quality, patient-focused service. To be considered, you must have relevant experience in a healthcare setting. This could include Receptionist work in GP Surgeries or other healthcare settings, 111 Health Advisors, or 999 call handlers.
Responsibilities
* Handle incoming calls professionally, signposting patients to the appropriate clinician or service, and escalate emergencies as needed.
* Offer operational support to clinical and non-clinical teams.
* Log accurate information using EMIS Web, including follow-ups, referrals, and clinical instructions.
* Provide compassionate support to patients and carers while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
* Work flexibly to meet service needs, following standard operating procedures and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
* Experience in a healthcare setting (e.g., GP reception, NHS environment, 111/999 relevant roles).
