About the Workshop
Located in the GL5 area, we combine nearly 40 years of heritage with modern diagnostic innovation. As a specialist in both mechanical and accident repair, we handle a diverse range of vehicles, including Ambulance Trust fleet contracts. We are recognized for our precision and safety standards, working closely with major insurers to provide a premium service to the Gloucestershire community.
Your Role
As a Senior Technician in our Stroud team, you will:
* Complex Diagnostics: Use modern software and technical schematics to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
* Advanced Calibration: Conduct specialist tasks including ADAS and geometry calibration.
* Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine servicing and repairs on engines, transmissions, braking, and suspension systems.
* Specialist Fleet Work: Maintain and repair specialist vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest safety and VOSA standards.
* Workshop Excellence: Carry out welding and equipment repairs when required while maintaining an organized, safe workspace.
* Collaboration: Work as part of a small, dedicated team to deliver 5-star customer service on every job.
What You Need
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (preferred).
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
* Technical Skill: Confident using diagnostic software and hand/power tools; F-Gas accreditation is desirable.
* License: Full UK driving licence is required; a C1 licence is a distinct advantage.
* Mindset: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently on complex repairs.
* Eligibility: Must have the right to work in the UK.
