As a Head of Supply Chain – Estates and Built Infrastructure, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll shape and deliver procurement strategies across high-value construction projects, driving excellence in supplier performance, contract management, and value creation. Day-to-day, you’ll influence the future of defence infrastructure, champion innovation, and ensure procurement is a driving force behind project success.
Responsibilities
 * Leading the transition to industry-standard forms of contract (NEC, JCT).
 * Developing and implementing partnering arrangements to support increased construction spend.
 * Creating procurement strategies aligned with global and local requirements.
 * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and meet procurement needs.
 * Monitoring supplier performance to drive continuous improvement and compliance.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
Essential Experience
 * Demonstrable experience with industry-recognised forms of contract (NEC, JCT).
 * Proven senior leadership experience in procurement.
 * Strong change management skills with a track record of leading transformation.
 * Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
 * Experience with system implementations and process improvements.
Qualifications
 * Relevant degree or professional qualification in procurement or supply chain management.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. Many of the positions within our company are subject to national security clearance and Trade Control restrictions.
