For more information on Sodexo Careers please visit Sodexo Careers Main Responsibilities Providing effective legal and commercial advice and assistance as required by the Segments/Functions supported Draft and negotiate contracts Assist the Segments/Functions supported regarding the assessment and management of legal and commercial risk Train the Segments/Functions supported on legal, commercial and regulatory issues Help to ensure that business is conducted in accordance with relevant law and Sodexo’s internal governance processes Instruct external lawyers and manage external legal fees under appropriate supervision Work collaboratively with all members of the UK&I Legal Department Provide preliminary advice on disputes Advise on regulatory compliance Comply with company policies and Legal Department processes Please see attached job description for further information regarding the role requirements The Ideal Candidate Educated to degree level or equivalent Qualified solicitor or barrister in the UK or equivalent jurisdiction Demonstrated experience of the law, contracts and practice relevant to the Segments/Functions supported Ability to advise on legal and commercial options Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage relationships successfully with Sodexo representatives Package Description Competitive salary depending on experience 32 hours a week 4 days a week Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
