Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Migration Support Technician to assist with a major hardware refresh project. This role involves supporting a smooth device migration process for end users, working closely with the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager to coordinate device movements, assist users, and maintain accurate records throughout the migration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and maintain the Refresh Clinic for device migrations.
* Move devices from onsite storage to the Refresh Clinic as needed.
* Assist users with login issues and laptop refreshes.
* Distribute new devices and collect old ones according to the migration schedule.
* Update workflow management system accurately at each step.
* Report and escalate issues during migration.
* Perform daily manual stock checks and report findings.
* Ensure secure packaging and storage of devices for disposal or refurbishment.
* Lock and secure equipment at the end of each day.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Experience in IT support, device migration, or technical refresh projects.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to follow structured processes and meet deadlines.
* Experience with workflow management systems.
* Good problem-solving and issue reporting skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Must hold an active SC clearance to qualify for this role.
