Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a specialist all-through SEMH school in Blaby (LE8), to appoint a dedicated and resilient Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The academy supports pupils aged 4-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, delivering a tailored curriculum designed to develop confident, resilient learners who are well-prepared for life beyond school.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs (Primary or Secondary phase)
Build strong, trusting relationships to support behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement
Implement consistent behaviour strategies in line with the school's therapeutic approach
Adapt curriculum delivery to meet individual needs, including EHCP targets
Monitor and track pupil progress, supporting both academic and personal development
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and external agencies
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or pupils with behavioural needs is highly desirable
Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching
Passionate about supporting vulnerable learners to achieve positive outcomes
A proactive team player committed to continuous improvement
