The role
Joining our Corporate Finance team
What is Corporate Finance?
Our Corporate Finance team helps clients solve some of their most important financial and strategic challenges. From buying and selling businesses to raising investment and planning growth, we work closely with clients to deliver successful outcomes. If you're curious, analytical, and enjoy working with people, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Your role in the Corporate Finance team
* Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) from start to finish – including research, analysis, and deal execution.
* Help build financial models and assess the value of businesses.
* Work with clients to gather key information and create marketing materials for potential investors or buyers.
* Collaborate with colleagues across Azets to meet deadlines and deliver great client service.
* Research market trends and identify opportunities for growth and investment.
* Build relationships with banks, law firms, and private equity firms to stay connected with the market.
* Prepare and present reports and updates to senior colleagues and clients.
Your Training & Support
You'll receive structured training in financial analysis, valuation, and deal processes. From day one, you'll be supported by experienced mentors and work on real client projects that help you build confidence and skills.
You'll also develop your communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with access to digital tools and guidance from our Corporate Finance experts.
Qualifications
This internship may result in opportunities to return as a graduate and complete a professional qualification such as the ACA (England & Wales) or ICAS (Scotland).
