Asour Assistant Store Manager you will be primarily working tomaximise sales and profit by ensuring the efficient and effectivemanagement of all sales and operationalareas.
Yourresponsibilities willinclude:
Recruittrain and appraise staff
Make full useof Googles online tools and our own bespokeEPOS/tools
Exceed your targets and bring freshideas to the business.
Managing and motivatingyour team to increase sales and ensureefficiency
Managing stock levels and making keydecisions about stock control
Analyse salesfigures and forecasting future sales
Analyse andinterpret trends to facilitate planning
UseEPOS/AIO to record sales figures for data analysis and forwardplanning
Participating in the hiring process ofnew employees including interviewing and training newemployees
Conducting appraisals and performancereviews as well as providing or organising training anddevelopment
Resolving conflicts between staffmembers
Ensuring standards for quality andcustomer service are met
Resolving and ensuringcompliance with health and safety legislation and securityissues
Responding to customer complaints andcomments
Attending and chairingmeetings
Updating colleagues on businessperformance new initiatives and other pertinentissues
Touring the sales floor regularly talkingto colleagues and customers and identifying or resolving urgentissues
Maintaining awareness of market trends inthe retail industry understanding forthcoming customer initiativesand monitoring what local competitors aredoing
Responds to customer issues in aprofessional manner
Assists in housekeepingstandards
