Head of Marketing – Healthcare (HCP / NHS Focus)
UK & Ireland | Hybrid (2 days onsite – North Cambridgeshire)
This is not a generalist Head of Marketing role, we are looking for a specific set of skills.
We are looking for a senior marketing leader from a large, matrixed organisation to take ownership of a specialist healthcare portfolio where success is driven by clinical adoption within the NHS.
So if you can talk through how a complex product you marketed actually got adopted in the NHS whilst managing a team of direct reports, that is a great start.
The Role
You will lead a defined therapy area across the UK & Ireland, with full ownership of:
* HCP strategy and engagement (clinicians, nurses, KOLs)
* End-to-end product launches (pre, go-to-market, post-launch performance)
* Commercial planning, forecasting, and business cases
* Cross-functional alignment across sales, clinical, digital, and global teams
This role requires someone who can shape strategy and execute through a team.
Strict Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
* A background in medtech, medical devices, or pharma
* Demonstrable experience working within or alongside the NHS
* Proven ownership of product or portfolio launches (not support roles)
* Experience engaging HCP audiences (e.g. clinicians, specialist nurses, KOLs)
* Experience leading and developing marketing teams
* Data-led decision making, comforatble with Salesforce / Power BI
* The ability to work 2 days per week onsite in North Cambridgeshire.
This Role is NOT Suitable For
* Generalist marketers without healthcare/NHS exposure
* Pure digital, brand, or communications profiles
* Candidates who have not owned launches or commercial outcomes
* Individuals seeking predominantly remote roles
Why This Role
* Ownership of a full therapy area, not a campaign remit
* Influence over how products are adopted across the NHS
* A pipeline of high-impact launches over the next 12–24 months
* Visibility and influence with UK & global leadership teams
If you have built your career in healthcare marketing and are looking for a role where you can lead strategy, influence clinicians, and drive real-world adoption, this will be of interest.
