A highly regarded law firm in Essex is seeking a 2+ PQE Residential Conveyancer to join it's established Property department. You'll be part of a busy property department, playing a key role in the team's continued success. This position will allow you to gain greater exposure to departmental projects and insights into the business. Due to an upcoming retirement within the team, you will take over an active caseload for a fee earner who is one of the highest billers within the department; it is a highly valuable and diverse caseload.
Responsibilities
1. Manage a full caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, lease extensions, re-mortgages and transfers of equity
2. Deliver a high standard of client care, ensuring strong and lasting client relationships
3. Provide support to junior members of the team and legal assistants
4. Play an active role in networking and business development to promote the team and wider firm
Requirements
5. Demonstrable experience in independently managing a broad conveyancing caseload
6. Strong technical understanding of residential property law and procedure
7. Confident communicator with excellent client care and interpersonal skills
8. Collaborative, proactive and adaptable approach to work
9. Experience in business development and networking
10. Experience with managing other team members
