Job Description
Part Time Accounts Receivable Specialist responsibilities:
* Process and manage customer invoicing with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Handle payments and allocate funds to the correct accounts.
* Maintain up-to-date records of receivables and account statuses.
* Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing queries promptly.
* Prepare regular financial reports related to accounts receivable.
* Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to ensure smooth processes.
* Monitor aged debt and work collaboratively with third parties to follow up on outstanding payments.
* Assist with month-end closing activities as required.
* Support audits by providing accurate documentation when needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Part Time Accounts Receivable Specialist should have:
* Experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role.
* Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with customers and colleagues.
