The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for Business Development Manager(s) to join our team working within Sunbury, Kent, London, and Essex and the surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
* Build effective relationships with existing and new customers.
* Prospect for new customers to secure maintenance contracts in accordance with annual targets.
* Lead meetings and negotiations.
* Generate proposals and manage enquiries for service contracts.
* Expand product knowledge, source market and competitor information.
* Use your knowledge of the lifts and/or construction industry to negotiate skilfully to win concessions.
* Work closely with the regional service teams to retain our existing customer base.
* Record activity through the Orona in‑house management systems.
What We’re Looking For
* Ability to sell contracts through the use of industry knowledge and excellent sales techniques.
* Active listening skills; patience to listen and accurately summarise what has been said.
* Confidence to work with minimum supervision and deliver work that is timely and accurate, right the first time.
* Able to negotiate skilfully in tough situations, winning concessions without damaging relationships.
* Command attention and communicate through formal presentation settings, adjusting the delivery to reflect the specific audience.
* Clean UK driving licence (essential).
* Right to work in the UK (mandatory).
