This Senior Chartered Surveyor role offers an excellent opportunity to work with industry experts, providing clear, commercial advice to clients. You will be part of a team and also have the platform to lead and work independently across various building surveying disciplines. The role involves:
1. Carrying out commercial surveying projects, including dilapidation advice, terminal schedules, negotiation and settlement of dilapidations, pre-lease assessments, acquisition surveys, defects analysis, project management, contract administration, fire reinstatement cost assessments, project monitoring, party wall advice, schedules of condition, planned preventative maintenance, forensic surveying, reinstatement cost assessments for insurance, early cost advice, lifecycle costing, feasibility studies, asset enhancement, design coordination, space planning, specification of works, drawings using AutoCAD, and tendering.
2. Engaging positively with clients and maintaining relationships.
3. Identifying new business opportunities.
4. Providing professional advice to clients and project teams.
5. Mentoring junior team members, especially those working towards APC qualification.
6. Collaborating closely with the Director and other Surveyors, ensuring clear communication.
This position is based in our Chester office and involves travel across the UK.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range is £58,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a car allowance, expenses, and bonus schemes.
