Role Summary:
The Office Administrator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the business. This position is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach, particularly with experience in logistics or freight forwarding environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the operations and logistics teams
* Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation, including bills of lading and invoices
* Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and carriers via phone and email
* Maintain accurate records and filing systems, both digital and physical
* Monitor and replenish office supplies and equipment as needed
* Assist with data entry and updates to internal systems and databases
* Support the coordination and tracking of shipments and deliveries
* Handle incoming calls and general office correspondence
* Ensure compliance with internal procedures and industry regulations
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience in an administrative role (experience in freight forwarding or logistics is advantageous)
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Familiarity with freight documentation and customs procedures is desirable
