Your new role
As Payroll Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day management of payroll systems and controls. You'll oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, manage audits, and implement process improvements. Leading a small team, you'll set objectives, monitor performance, and ensure all deadlines for payments and reporting are met.
This is an immediate start temporary position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Proven experience in payroll management and team leadership
2. Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, and pension schemes
3. Ability to manage complex payroll processes and meet tight deadlines
4. Excellent organisational and communication skills
5. A recognised payroll qualification (, CIPP) or equivalent experience
