Teaching Personnel are offering graduates the chance to gain hands‑on experience in SEN and SEMH specialist schools, PRUs and inclusion units across East Manchester, supporting pupils aged 5–16 with a wide range of needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll support pupils with:

* Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs
* Autism, ADHD & communication differences
* Learning difficulties
* Behavioural challenges
* Trauma or attachment‑related barriers

Your daily role will include:
✅ Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
✅ Using trauma‑informed & restorative strategies
✅ Supporting emotional regulation & classroom engagement
✅ Working with teachers, behaviour mentors & SEN specialists
✅ Helping create safe, structured, nurturing learning environments

Who We’re Looking For

Graduates from:

* Psychology

You should be:
• Patient, supportive & resilient
• Passionate about helping young people overcome barriers
• Open to SEN/SEMH training
• Available Mon–Fri (8:30–3:30)
• Willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
