Systems Modelling and Simulation Engineer Initial 12-month contract Bristol only, onsite full time - can work a compressed 4 day week £75ph, Umbrella, inside IR35 SC must be in place prior to starting the contract. Key Responsibilities: Developing and maintaining performance models to support a key programme within the organisation. Integrating components from within the team and other project areas. Designing, implementing, testing, and documenting simulation models while ensuring compliance with quality standards. Interacting with other functional teams autonomously, including Guidance Navigation & Control, Software, Hardware-in-the-Loop, Systems Design & Validation, and Technical Quality. Performing technical analyses and investigations into a full range of issues and problems, developing solutions either individually or as part of a project team. Engaging with model users to understand and respond to their needs, ensuring the model's fitness for its intended use. Job Requirements: Experience in simulation and modelling, preferably on aerospace projects. Proficiency with The MathWorks products, specifically Simulink, Embedded MATLAB, and Stateflow. Ability to produce computer simulations from mathematical specifications. Understanding of the modelling process and working within a quality process.
