Our client, a reputable provider of residential care, is seeking a dedicated Senior Support Worker to join their new home in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support individuals (15-17 years) in a nurturing environment, helping them achieve greater independence and well-being.What you'll be doing:Leading and supervising other Support Workers, ensuring high standards of care and supportBuilding trusting relationships with residents, promoting their safety, dignity, and independenceCreating personalised care plans tailored to each individual's needsSupporting residents with daily activities, emotional needs, and social engagementEnsuring compliance with all care regulations and company policiesContributing to a positive, team-oriented workplace cultureWhat you'll bring:Compassionate approach with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individualsStrong senior skills and the ability to motivate the people around youExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work flexibly on a rota of 2 days on / 4 days off, including sleep shifts, overtime, and travel when neededExperience in residential, EBD or social care environments is highly valuedEssential skills and qualifications:Previous experience supporting children in a care settingExperience in EBD or at risk environmentsRelevant care qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel as requiredJoin a caring organisation that values your expertise and commitment.
