Our goal:
We are currently looking for an intern to join our Consumer team in our London office. This is a six-month internship to start this Autumn.
The Piper Sandler consumer investment banking team is one of the largest groups dedicated to the consumer sector across North America and Europe, with over 60 investment banking professionals. The team is a leading M&A advisor within the sector, havingpleted more than 170 consumer M&A transactions since 2016 and >$ of transaction value in the past four years.

What we are looking for:
• Good understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals with strong analytical ability and quantitative skills
• Ability to adjust in a fast-pace and changeable entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads
• Emotional maturity to strive in a high-pressure role
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
• Exceptional writing, verbalmunication and client facing skills
• Integrity and high motivation, with an eagerness to make an impact to the team
• Previous investment banking experience is highly preferred

• Assisting in the preparation of client and marketing materials
• Gathering and synthesising quantitative and qualitative data
• Conducting industry andpany-specific research and financial analysis
• Contributing to financial modelling/valuation analysis
• Project administration
