Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £42,000 + Additional Call Out/Overtime Payments
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:00 am – 5:30 pm), with overtime opportunities and early shifts available. Call-out duties on a rota basis (1 in 5 weeks), with additional mileage and call-out payments.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join a leading organisation in Stoke-on-Trent. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving automated process equipment within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities Include:
Diagnosing and repairing faults on pumps, mixers, conveyor systems, packaging equipment, and general services.
Performing mechanical tasks such as fitting, welding, dismantling/rebuilding, and parts replacement.
Supporting reactive maintenance and contributing to the development of a Planned Preventative Maintenance system.
Maintaining accurate engineering documentation and ensuring timely communication.
Working collaboratively with production teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Participating in production meetings and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
