Folkestone & Hythe District Council (FHDC) is looking for an experienced housing worker to join our dynamic and effective Independent Living team.
You will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive, customer-focused housing service to FHDC tenants living in Independent Living (sheltered housing) schemes.
Responsibilities
* Sign up new tenants into their homes
* Deal with reports of anti-social behaviour
* Manage tenancies and handle resident queries
* Carry out scheme surgeries and meetings
* Implement annual wellbeing plans with all tenants
* Assess suitability of applicants for Independent Living accommodation
* Maintain safety through weekly scheme inspections, ensuring fire safety
