Newtownhamilton Credit Union WE ARE HIRING Newtownhamilton Credit Union would like to add to their strong team with the appointment of a Teller/Loans Officer. The Teller/Loans Officer will be responsible for carrying out a range of administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective running of the credit union. Key Responsibilities: Processing lodgements, withdrawals, and transactions Assisting new and existing members with queries and account services Daily cash balancing and end-of-day reconciliation Maintaining accurate records and filing systems Supporting administrative and operational tasks Assessing and approving loan applications within authorised limits Evaluating affordability and repayment capacity Managing loan documentation and records What We Are Looking For A minimum of 2 years experience in a busy office environment Experience of cash handling/ cash transactions Customer service experience Proficient in the use of MS Office. Strong communication skills that will be required in working with members, non-members, suppliers, team members and managers The ability to work independently taking ownership and responsibilities for duties, with the ability to use initiative to identify solutions to issues.
