Working hours: 36 Hours per week (Fully Flexible Working Week and Hybrid working options available)
Salary: £17,000 per annum

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our established Finance team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in finance at a truly unique organisation (open to college leavers and career changers).
You will gain valuable workplace experience while studying towards the AAT Qualification (Association of Accounting Technicians), delivered in partnership with Kaplan. Starting at level 2 before progressing through levels 3 & 4, we look forward to supporting you at every step along the way of your 48 month journey to become a qualified Accounting Technician.
As an integral part of our Accounts Receivable function you will contribute to the success of our Finance team by maintaining accurate records of invoices, issuing sales invoices and statements to customers, handling queries and supporting preparation for end of year auditing. As you progress through your professional development additional responsibilities will be added.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend classroom based learning at Kaplan’s Central Birmingham office - on average this equates to one day per week. The MTC are committed to covering all reasonable travel costs to facilitate this for the duration of your studies (including examinations if required).
