The Role: Offering 1:1 and small group support for students with special educational needs, ensuring their engagement and progress. Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans and provide tailored interventions. Assisting with social, emotional, and behavioral needs, helping students develop confidence and resilience. Creating a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages inclusion and active participation for all students. Monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and working closely with staff to adjust support where needed. The Ideal Candidate: Experience supporting children with special educational needs is desirable. A solid understanding of SEN strategies and approaches, with the ability to implement them effectively in the classroom. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both students and staff. Patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s individual learning needs.
