Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This position will involve working remotely with occasional client onsite presence if required.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
In this role, you will take ownership of the Salesforce data model, shaping how critical business processes are structured, secured, and scaled. You will work closely with business analysts, product owners, and developers to translate complex requirements into robust platform designs, ensuring alignment with best practices and long-term maintainability. You will play a key role in guiding stakeholders, influencing design decisions, and ensuring the platform evolves in line with organisational needs.
You will also contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance performance, optimise processes, and introduce innovative solutions. Supported by a collaborative team, you will help drive high-quality delivery across the full lifecycle, from design through to release and governance.
• Lead Salesforce data models to support scalable, secure solutions
• Translate business requirements into effective platform designs
• Govern and maintain data structures, documentation, and design standards
• Manage and secure access controls including RBAC, profiles, and permissions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Agile environments
• Implement data model changes through structured release processes
• Enhance platform performance, automation, and usability
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You will bring strong experience in Salesforce data modelling and platform design, alongside a solid understanding of security, system administration, and governance. You should be comfortable working across technical and business teams, with the ability to translate requirements into scalable solutions within complex environments, ideally in the public sector.
• Proven experience in Salesforce data modelling and platform architecture
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce security, RBAC, and administration
• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience with public sector Salesforce implementations (desirable)
• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Advanced Admin, or Platform App Builder (beneficial)
