Overview
The Governors are seeking to appoint two Assistant SENDCo. The postholders will support the provision of SEND across the school, ensuring that students with additional needs receive high‑quality, personalised provision that enables them to overcome barriers to learning, achieve in line with expectations, and thrive within an inclusive school community.
Qualifications and Experience
This role would suit a candidate who has a SENDCo qualification or has significant experience of working with children with SEND and is willing to undertake the qualification on appointment.
Duties
On appointment, the specific duties of the successful candidates will be determined by experience, skills and interest. The Assistant SENDCo will co‑operate with the SENDCo to develop and implement strategies, coordinate support, and contribute to the school’s SEND plan.
