Job Title: Assistant Management Accountant
Location: Southport (Hybrid - Minimum 2 Days Working from Home)
Salary: £30,000-£32,000pa + company benefits
Are you an AAT Level 3 qualified professional, currently studying or looking to pursue CIMA? We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a well-established construction firm based in Southport. This hybrid role offers flexibility, with at least two days working from home, while providing the opportunity to develop your career within a dynamic and growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Support month-end processes, including journal postings and variance analysis
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
* Contribute to financial reporting and analysis for the business
* Provide support in ad-hoc finance projects as required
Requirements:
* AAT Level 3 qualified or higher
* Currently studying or willing to study towards CIMA (study support will be provided after probation)
* Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
* Hybrid working model (minimum two days from home)
