MFL Teacher (French & Spanish)

Location: Ashford, Kent

Salary: £120 - £250 per day (depending on experience and pay scale)

Start date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, 1-Year Maternity Cover

We at GSL Education Kent are currently recruiting for a dedicated MFL Teacher (French & Spanish) to join a prominent secondary school in Ashford from September 2026. This is a full-time maternity cover position for one academic year, offering an excellent opportunity to become part of a vibrant and inclusive school community.

The successful MFL Teacher will be responsible for the full range of teaching duties, including planning, preparation, assessment, and marking. You will teach both French and Spanish, supporting students to develop confidence and proficiency in modern foreign languages.

The ideal MFL Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching both French and Spanish
• The ability to teach French and Spanish up to KS3 level
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• A proactive, organised, and professional approach to teaching
