Summary of the role
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative LXI Portfolio Officer to join our Learning Experiences and Innovation (LXI) team within Education and Academic Services (EAS).
LXI is the go-to service across the Exeter learning community, empowering our students, academics, staff and partners to co‑create distinctive learning experiences where every learner thrives. This role will play a key part in delivering major education and student experience initiatives—particularly supporting the rollout of Curriculum for Change and other transformative projects aligned with Strategy 2030.
Reporting to the Learning and Pilots Manager, you’ll work closely with staff within LXI, including other LXI Portfolio Officers, and Faculty education leaders, including Associate Pro‑Vice‑Chancellors and Senior Education Partners, to integrate key institutional initiatives into Faculty priorities.
Key responsibilities
* Support the delivery and implementation of Faculty roadmaps for Curriculum for Change and other strategic initiatives.
* Build strong working relationships across Faculties, championing educational innovation and improvement.
* Monitor project progress, ensuring delivery on time and to high standards.
* Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with other LXI Portfolio Officers to share best practices and streamline institutional processes.

You will be an organised, analytical, and relationship‑focused professional, capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be able to engage diverse stakeholders to deliver projects on time and to a high level.

Salary will be from £33,951 on Grade E, depending on qualifications and experience
