CNC Grinder / Manual Grinder
Location: Exhall, Coventry
Salary: £18-£20 per hour, depending on experience
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-12noon ( Overtime Available)

Job Role:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Grinder / Manual Grinder with proven experience operating and programming Studer cylindrical grinding machines. You will be responsible for producing high-precision components to tight tolerances for our Motorsport Customers.
Manual External and Internal Experience is needed.
Main Responsibilities:
• Set up, program, and operate Studer CNC and manual grinding machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Work to tight tolerances and maintain high-quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are in good working order.
• Collaborate with the production and quality teams to meet deadlines and improve processes.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience operating and programming Studer CNC grinders (e.g., S33, S40, etc.).
• Strong background in cylindrical grinding and manual grinding.
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with precision measurement tools.
• Flexibility to work independently or as part of a small team.
• Internal and external Taper grinding would be ideal.
Desirable:
• Knowledge of Fanuc or StuderWIN control systems.
• Experience with other precision grinding machines.
• Apprenticeship or qualification in Mechanical/Precision Engineering.
