The Fife Rheumatology service is undertaking a transformational change programme to refocus its service delivery to ensure patient focused effective and efficient care. A key role within this redesign is the Multidisciplinary team lead who will:
1. Provide strategic leadership, and support to the Rheumatology Multidisciplinary Team in the delivery of high-quality services.
2. Provide high level clinical expertise in the management of a caseload, providing clinic-based assessments and therapeutic interventions for the above patient group.
3. Provide clinical coordination for the multidisciplinary delivery of therapeutic services, maximising the MDT team capacity in meeting demands by Rheumatology patients across Health and Social Care.
4. Act as Service lead representative for the Fife Rheumatology Service in all developments relating to therapeutic work for patients
The successful applicant will be:
5. A Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with significant post-registration experience and management experience with evidence of specialist knowledge and understanding of the bio-psychosocial model of care in the management of Rheumatology conditions
6. Significant management experience working in a MDT along with experience of service development
