About the Role Connex Education is working in partnership with a SEND School in Halton to recruit an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team and support their students both academically and emotionally. In this role, you will be supporting EYFS & Key Stage 1 Students. You will support the class teacher to ensure all students have equal access to a preformal curriculum, whilst adhering and contributing to EHCPs and working closely with speech and language therapists. As the ideal candidate, you will have knowledge and experience of supporting children with additional needs. Be understanding and empathetic with the ability to help children self -regulate. Promoting life skills and empowering pupils by building confidence. Be engaging and using a person-centered approach.
