JMC Aviation are working with an MRO company based in Prestwick, looking to recruit a new Shift Supervisor to join their team.
This client is an international line and base maintenance provider, operating a comprehensive level of support for commercial aircraft operators. As an independent MRO, they are able to adapt their approach to respond to rapidly changing requirements and provide services which include component repairs, overhauls, piece part manufacture, aircraft fuel tank repairs, aircraft maintenance, aircraft interiors and AOG support.

This is a Permanent Position based in Prestwick.
Working a 5/5/4 shift pattern (7am - 7pm).

The primary purpose of this role is to lead the shift, carry certification on the zones/Area of the aircraft assigned to the Shift.
Efficiently control, supervise, and allocate work tasks during the shift to ensure optimal productivity and adherence to timelines.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance regularly to provide constructive feedback and support professional development.
Ensure proper training and resources are provided to staff for effective task completion.
Exercise the privileges of authorisation correctly and responsibly, adhering to all regulatory and company standards.
Participate in regular training sessions to keep abreast of any changes or updates in procedures.
Ensure accurate time tracking for 'man-hours' worked for self and team during the shift period
In order to be successful in this role the Shift Supervisor will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar.
Ideally hold a C license
Extensive hands-on experience of certifying Aircraft with an EASA part 66 licence and appropriate company authorisation
Management experience within the aviation industry preferably managing other Licensed Engineers
