Reed Accountancy are recruiting for a Payroll Manager to join our highly regarded client. This pivotal role offers a dynamic work environment where you will lead payroll operations and projects, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory frameworks. Day-to-day of the role:
* Manage and oversee the team to ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly and annual payroll processes for over 5,000 employees.
* Ensure internal financial reporting, system developments, and team coordination align with the company's goals.
* Provide exceptional client-centric care, enhancing service delivery across the team.
* Conduct routine audits and quality reviews to uphold high standards of compliance and efficiency.
* Drive payroll projects, leveraging technology and innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, prioritizing workloads and managing expectations proactively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a payroll team.
* Extensive experience with Workday payroll software.
* Professional payroll qualifications or demonstrable experience in payroll management.
* In-depth knowledge of statutory and legislative payroll regulations, including RTI, maternity/paternity legislations, and more.
* Strong understanding of payroll processing technicalities such as P11Ds, P60s, P45s, and salary sacrifices.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for process improvements.
* Strong commitment to confidentiality and legislative data obligations.
