Job Title: Social Worker – Safeguarding
Location: Somerset
Rate: £38 per hour
Our client in Somerset is looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join their Adults Services team.
Responsibilities:
* Support triage decision-making processes and undertake Section 42 enquiries to assess and mitigate risks.
* Develop and implement protection plans for individuals at risk of abuse or neglect.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures.
* Work closely with vulnerable adults across Somerset, demonstrating strong risk management skills.

Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience in adult safeguarding and understanding of safeguarding practices.
* Confident in record-keeping, risk management, and decision-making in triage situations.
* Willingness to travel for site visits.
* Social Work England registration.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Degree-level qualification in Social Work.
