Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager
Responsibilities
* Managing assets independently within investment policy guidelines to achieve investment objectives.
* Supervising a small team.
* Implementing investment strategies consistent with client financial goals, risk tolerance, and in accordance with investment policies, philosophies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
* Working with research, strategy team members, and other portfolio team members.
* Meeting with clients and new business prospects to communicate investment strategy, discuss market performance, and current market conditions.
* Independently implementing investment strategies for more complex funds/strategies in line with client financial goals, risk tolerance, and applicable policies and regulations.
* Evaluating the performance of investments and making timely changes to a portfolio to meet investment objectives or allocation guidelines.
* Analyzing and determining a client’s appropriate level of risk based on time horizon, preferences, expectations, and market conditions.
* Contributing to the firm’s profitability by ensuring retention and expansion of existing client relationships through superior investment performance and client services.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred.
* Demonstrable investment experience.
* Leadership experience desired.
* CFA or MBA required.
* Experience in fixed income, equities, and ETFs desired.
